Designer Vanessa Rivers created SummerLove Swimwear out of her desire to design a bikini that was sexy, modern and environmentally friendly. As an avid surfer she had learned to have a great respect for the environment and, how important it was to have a good swimsuit.
She creates her swimwear using VITA which is a sustainable fabric using ECONYL which is a 100% recycled fiber made from pre and post-consumer materials such as discarded fishing nets. It’s lightweight, extremely comfortable and provides UV protection up to UPF50+. It has superior shape retention (like a super LYCRA) and is incredibly resistant to oils and sun care products. And finally every swimsuit comes in an organic, reusable swimwear bag and is shipped in a recycled mailer.
They are a proud member of 1% For The Planet which is an organization which believes that business is responsible for positive change and that we can leave our planet as a better place.
The only place that SummerLove Swimwear is sold is on their own website. They sell mix and match separate tops and bottoms for $49.50 each for a $99 Eco Bikini. They also offer a Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal so that you can stock up and change your look every day.
